Bus driver stabbed in Auckland’s Mt Roskill

An Auckland bus driver is in hospital after being stabbed in Auckland’s Mt Roskill this evening, 1News understands.

According to police, the incident occurred on White Swan Road at around 7.45pm.

Auckland Tramways Union president Gary Froggatt told 1News that one of his members was the victim of the attack.

The driver has been transported to Auckland hospital in serious condition.

One person was arrested at the scene.
