Man critically injured in Auckland stabbing

A man has been taken to hospital with critical injures after an incident in South Auckland early this morning.

Police said the man was stabbed about 5am on Māngere East’s Moffitt Place.

Officers are “speaking with a man” about the event and remain in the area making enquiries.

“There is no ongoing risk to the community.”
