Police investigating ‘sudden death’ in West Auckland car park

Police are investigating after a person died in a West Auckland car park this morning.

Stuff reports the “sudden death” happened in the Te Atatu Countdown car park on Te Atatu Road. It was first reported to police at 11.15am.

Police said: “The circumstances of death are currently unexplained, and further inquiries are required.”

A scene guard is currently in place, and police are asking locals to avoid the area where possible.
