A third arrest has been made in the homicide investigation into the death of Jayden Mamfredos-Nair.

Police detective inspector Callum McNeill of Waitematā CIB said police arrested a 20-year-old on Saturday night.

“We have also charged him with Jayden’s murder,” he said.

McNeill added the man is expected in the North Shore District Court tomorrow, and will appear alongside the two men arrested earlier on Saturday.

Mamfredos-Nair was reported missing from West Auckland on 24 April 2023.

Yesterday, two men aged 26 were arrested and charged with Jayden’s murder.

After today’s third arrest, McNeill said police cannot rule out further arrests as part of the investigation.
