Successful Homecare provider Pacific Homecare secured two prestigious homecare industry awards, as part of the 2013 New Zealand Home Health Association Service and Quality Awards.
The awards, held in conjunction with the annual New Zealand Home Health Association (NZHHA) conference in Auckland on 11-12 April, recognise and publicise innovations and achievements of New Zealand homecare providers.
The awards are centred on delivering services of high quality that support people to live independent lives in their homes and communities, and Pacific Homecare won two of the three awards on offer.
These included the Insite Service Innovation and Quality Award for improving the quality and/or effectiveness of service delivery, and the Workforce Initiative Award for improving service delivery through workforce development.
The awards follow other successes at Pacific Homecare during the past two years, including a visit from Prime Minister Hon. John Key in September 2012 attending a workforce graduation, a successful rebrand, an office relocation and renovation, training and development initiatives, migrating their network infrastructure into the cloud, business process re-engineering and workforce mobilisation through implementation of new technology.
The New Zealand Home Health Association represents 40 organisations that provide health care, personal care and support for people living in their own homes. Members include both private and not-for-profit organisations across New Zealand.
